Unlocking the Real World: CUK

What I Liked

The campus is beautiful with green. The atmosphere is really good for studies.
The library provides good amount of books related to the course.
The syllabus designed for the course is good and updated.

What I didn’t like

The hostel facilities are too poor compared to the fees paid. Congested room and poor toilets and bathrooms.
Not providing fieldwork for social work students as instructed by the UGC.
Library hours are limited. books are not issued in Saturdays and Sundays.

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel room is congested accomodating 4 students and it provides a study table chair and a cupboard for each student. The mess food is the worst. No quality and repeated menu. The hostel registration are done through the DSW office. The sanitation facility of the Kaveri hostel is very poor and the students complaints are not taken into consideration by the authorities. There is no PG vailable near to the campus.

Campus Life:

The annual sports and cultural event is Ankur which is held in the month of April. There are no clubs or any society in the university. The range and accessibility of books and jornals in the library is quite good. The faculties are well equiped with technologies.

All about cuk

What I Liked

Training provided by the department like lifeskill training
Bus facility during summer time in morning and evening
Nice natural view for releasing and refreashing

What I didn’t like

Hostel food were too bad for students and hostel accomodation
Hostel fees also expensive it is not affordable for students
More academic pressure more assignment and presentatio

Hostel Facilities:

Room is very congusted and in one small room have 4 members and 3 table and 3 alamara. Mess food is below avarage. Quality is cheap sometimes warm and spider in food Registaion process is not complicated

Campus Life:

In out university every department celebrate fest in each department is moree exploring and entertment. Book availibiliy in university is less and time also less in university class room has fan ac and projector

Corrupts hit high to the CUK

What I Liked

Campus during rainy season is really a beautiful place to move around.

What I didn’t like

Teaching process by faculties is poor. They're biased. They don't cover the syllabus and also don't reach out to pupils.
Syllabus and class conductance. Syllabus is huge but faculties are not concerned enough to take classes regularly.
Food and accommodation provided by hostels. Food is of worst quality and unhygienic. I got sick after I came into this university.

Campus Life:

Overall experience is poor, I don't like the university, food, prople, faculties, teaching process, environment, etc. it doesn't help me in career building, it puts pressure on the students mentally. It extorts enormous amounts of money, whereas the output is not worth. I got really sick and diagnosed with serious diseases consuming the food here, but the health services provided by the university is useless.

Facts of CUK

What I Liked

Campus infrastructure is actually impressive.
Campus is covered with various trees, so it's full of nature.
Campus is very big and spacious which is attractive.

What I didn’t like

Remoteness, that is our university is around 30 km far from the city.
Food of the hostel is the worst here and they it is not about taste but it is about the use of vegetables and hygiene.
Transport system is also not goos as bus drivers do not do their jobs properly. In summers, under 48° croching sun we had to walk 4 km from hostel to department and even in our hostel they are not providing lunch.

Campus Life:

Campus is very good but there is no club for different activities (only one dance club has started around a month ago) and also teachers are not so supportive for extra-curricular activities. If we involve in social events like conpetitions or department fests then they will not give attendance.

Eye opening facts

What I Liked

I liked the campus and greenery here. I like the department of various schools.
I like the infrastructure here and hostel infrastructure security over here.
I like how the teachers are friendly with students and liberal examination here

What I didn’t like

I dislike here is the food over here and market is too far
I dislike here another thing is this University is in remote areas.
I dislike here is some teachers don't teach properly and took leave

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel fees here is 18000 for general students. Hostel infrastructure is good but in food i would rate 3/10 food is not good here. This is very spicy and taste is not good here according to fees. In hostel you have to apply online .

Campus Life:

The annual function here is ANKUR it is conducted every year . And students can participate in all the compitions they conduct in variety of field library facilities is also very good you can access to many books and can find wide variety of books there. Classroom is also good and charming. Sports and extracurricular activities is also good they provide wide field to apply in sports

What I Liked

Central university of Karnataka have a good academic atmospher and faculties.
It have moderate fee structure and its affordable
It have a good infrastructure and ambience

What I didn’t like

Cuk is situated in a rural area, its difficult to reach there
Central university of Karnataka Administration is not so good
Hostel food is not so good but accommodation is ok

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel is good and have good facilities such as cupboard, bunker and study table. Hostel food is not good, eveytime daal is the main curry. Some of the students faces some stomach issues. But the food is adjustable.

Campus Life:

The overall experience is ok but not so good. The campus is not an happening campus and sometimes its boring. Its in a rural area.. so we can get that exposure and can visit those areas. Overall its ok

The chances are less but it does not mean that you cannot get admission. Securing a seat in CURAJ with 33 marks is difficult but you can easily get that in Central University of Punjab (CUPB).

During the first, second and third rounds of counseling, you may or may not get seats but after that the university conducts an open counseling and spot admission.

Every year, seats remain vacant in almost each and every course in CUPB. You may get a seat in the third round of counseling or after that in open counseling.
