- The weather in the college is pretty good
- Most of the faculty is well experienced and well trained
- The friends you find here jel up very well
Dislikes
- Summers in Amrita are very hot and is not very comfortable
- The hostel rooms do not have AC which is not very comfortable
- The food in the mess is not very tasty and is almost same every day
Remarks :
The eligibility for this test was to pass intermediate with 75 percentage marks . The application form can be found on the web . Just type Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham application forms and the first like will help you apply for AEEE.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The electric part of the course encouraged me to take up this course and I was very interested in circuits and electronic devices since I was a kid. Even the importance of ECE student in the market motivated me to take up this course
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees that i pay is around 4lakhs which is an average amount to pay for an engineering student in any private universities. There are merit scholarships that are available in this college . These scholarships will reduce the amount by half also
Campus Life :
The campus is very big and beautiful. It is a 400 acres campus so you will have very free space to chill and enjoy. The sports and extracurriculars are very good here . Any sports you like we have a club here.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels you get here are pretty medium . You can't expect a very luxurious hostel life but with friends you can adjust to the hostels in Amrita . The food is very medium quality and taste. Only sambar tastes good here
Faculty :
Most of the teachers are approachable and clear the students doubts if the students have any. The faculty is well trained and experienced. The teacher to student ratio is 1:62 which is not very good but is manageable. The approach to teaching is very reasonable as the teachers do not show leaniance towards the students which makes the student work on their own and figure stuff on their put.

Course curriculum was much better compared to other colleges.Some subjects were thought from the basics so that students can easily remember as much they can. Course curriculum was also updated year by year.

My college's course program is widely recognized for its thoroughness and relevancy. It includes fundamental ideas and real-world applications, closely matching the norms and practices of the industry today. The solid foundation of core disciplines is complemented by elective options that enable the pursuit of particular interests. Nonetheless, in order to reflect the most recent advancements in the discipline, some sections would benefit from more frequent updating. All things considered, the curriculum provides a comprehensive and well-rounded educational experience that successfully equips students for challenges in the workplace and in the classroom.
PSG COLLEGE REVIEW
Placement Experience :
From the 5th semester the students are eligible for placement training. The students can also try off campus placements even in their 2 nd year. There are many companies visiting our college.some of them are cognizant, Zoho , Infosys and so on. The average package is 6.5 lakhs per annum and highest package is 33 to 35 lakhs per annum. My plan after degree is to place in a reputed company.

Students attend campus placement from 6th semester and internship opportunities by 6th semester. Top core and non core companies come for placement as PSG is one of the top colleges in Tamilnadu. For mechanical engineering caterpillar, tata , tvs , L and T and many other top companies come for recruitment
Must know before joining amrita
Placement Experience :
Campus placements is available from the 6th or 7th semester. It differs for different branches. In electronics, some of the famous companies are Bosch, samsung, and more. The highest package changes from branch to branch. The overall highest package in year 2023 is 43lpa. More than 70% of the students get placed in every branch. I would prefer doing higher education if I don't get a package worth my value. I think it is not worth it to waste your time if you don't get the package you deserve.

placements: Mainly Focus On IT placement with 92%. Start from 7th semester. Companies: TCS, Infosys, Wipro. Offers: 700+. Highest: ?15 LPA, Avg: ?4.5 LPA. 85% placed. Plans: Join tech firm or pursue further studies. I strongly recommend for students who have interest in software jobs or IT companies This placement is worthy for them
