- Yale School of Medicine has established the 2-year Master of Health Science (MHS) degree, for applicants with YSM resident, fellow, and faculty appointments in a department or program approved to award the MHS.
- A full-length original thesis, at the culmination of a two-year commitment to the program and based upon the required two-year research project, of approximately 50-60 pages in length and reviewed and approved by a three-person thesis committee.
- The applicant must indicate how the three-person MHS thesis committee will be arranged. One member must come from outside the department or program of the primary advisor.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students need to submit their undergraduate degrees from a recognized university or institution.
- All entering students must have earned a bachelor's degree or its international equivalent prior to enrolling at the Graduate School. You may submit an application before receiving your degree, or while your degree is still in progress, so long as the degree will be completed prior to matriculation.
Indian Eligibility:
- Students are required to submit the 4 years of Bachelor's degree from the recognized university or college with first grade.
- Students need to submit their English proficiency scores in IELTS and TOEFL.
