I chose Christ University because it is very well known for psychology. I really liked the curriculum cause it had a lot of subjects related to research and I personally am very interested in research. No, I didnt apply to any other colleges for psychology, Christ University was the only one.
The curriculum gives a lot of emphasis on research, for example, I'm currently in my 3rd semester and I have 3 subjects related to research: Academic Writing, Research Methodolody Lab, Qualitative Research Methods. Even though I'm very interested in research, I feel that the curriculum could have more subjects related to psychology so that it would be helpful for us to chose which specialization of psychology we would like to move forward with in the future.
There aren't much placements for the course I am pursuing, because in psychology people usually prefer to go ahead with further higher studies instead of directly going for a job after Bachelors. I personally would also do a Masters after my graduation.

Christ University is very well known for its campus engagement , there are several clubs suited for each individual, so yes you will be very socially active if you join any clubs on campus. I personally am in three clubs. Sometimes it does get a little difficult to balance it alongside academics but it is really really fun.
There's a total of around 14 faculties for Bsc Psychology (Hons.) in Christ University, Kengeri and all 14 of the faculty members have a PhD degree. I personally find the faculty members very intimidating, but I feel that if you go up to them with your problems, they will help you find solutions (we are always encouraged to go up to them with our problems).
Our curriculum is designed at the same level as some of the top universities known for this course. It is well detailed and comprehensive and is very easy to understand. It is both practical and application based as well. The theory is also up to date. The timing of the exams are based on how long the semester is. Usually odd semesters are short and even semesters are long. The exam timings are okay usually. The difficulty level is easy for MCQ, medium for midterms and medium to difficult for finals.
The placements are very good compared to other colleges. Companies like GoldmanSachs and DeShaw come for placement opportunities. There are about 75 companies visiting offering over 200 jobs yearly. The highest package would be 20LPA and average being 8LPA. 40 percent students get placements I plan on sitting for placements
