I didn't have a very good percentile in mains to get in a tier-2/tier-3 college with my desired subject, so I opted this college as I had good rank in WBJEE. The college was decent with a good ROI(back when I enrolled in the college) but now with increased fee structure it isn't worth much.
Course curriculum is up to date with latest trends. The syllabus changes every year as per the market needs, there is sufficient time between the course and exams, which makes it less hectic, AI and ML is included in the course.
Placement in CSE department is decent, they get you a job but not very promising package, you have to go off campus for good Placements, the college brings companies but not very attractive offers, even you have to find internships on your own.
At first the fees was less than 100k per annum for 4 year course the total fees was less than 400k, but the fees was increased by 50k per annum starting from this year, so now the total annual fees for newcomers is around 600k.
Campus life is not very engaging as there is no hostel for boys in the college and since the campus is very small, It gives kind of school vibes, the college closes at 8 pm, so campus life is not much entertaining, few clubs are active like, music, dancing, fashion, sports, Nss, etc.
Faculty is good, teacher's are laborious, we have 4 surprise tests as internals and 1 end sem for 60 marks, but now we have 2 surprise tests and 1 mid sem with 1 end sem of 60 marks. 40 marks come from internals
Campus placement is offered by my college and companies come to my college from all over the world. From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Most common and frequent companies are Schlumberger, reliance, tata etc they offer placement to 20-30 students every year.highest package offered was of 2.3crs and college average package lies between 15-20 lakh. around 80 percent students get placed every year. My plan after the completion of my BTech degree is to go for further studies by clearing CAT exam and applying for manegement course in IIM's and then getting placed in foreign or to get a reputed government job in India.
Upon completing their fifth semester, students become eligible for campus placements, which are facilitated at the Career Development Center within the campus premises. The placement rates have consistently been high, reaching 98% in 2020, 88% in 2022, and 95% in 2023. Key recruiters include TCS, IBM, Google, Infosys, Adobe, and Amazon. The median salary packages for undergraduate (UG) four-year degrees stood at 6.5lakhs in 2020, 7 lakhs in 2021, and 6 lakhs in 2022. While many students opt for placements, some may also choose to pursue higher studies such as MTech or MBA.

From 7th semester the students become eligible for campus placements. Cognizant, IBM, TCS and various companies for the core deptertment visited. According to 2022 placement history above 85% students from my stream got placements. but after 2022 we don't have any information about placements. the college doesn't release anything about placements. It should be the rate of placements is decreasing day by day. It's a very negative sign for us.
