The eligibilty for the course is atleast to have a percentage of 60 and above and have a decent amount of percentage in the main subjects in the previous examinations. The application and all the other details of the fees are found in the admission block of the college. I have not applied for any reservation benefits, so I don't have much idea about it. The exams occur every 6 months per semester and there are 2 internal and lab exams per semester. Their difficulty with the exams is at an above-average level. The questions in the exams are almost repeated and it is easy to revise for the exams. In the admission process, the faculty for admission do not provide the exact details for the placements and internships.
Information science is one of the leading streams when it comes to engineering. I have chosen this decision because it helps me shape into solving practical life problems and problem-solving skills. The curriculum is based on VTU ( Vishvesharaiah technological university). The curriculum is good and is upto the modern programming languages and technolgies. The only areas is the amount of projects or the amount of real-life examples in this course curriculum. It does not provide an adequate amount of importance when it comes to this aspect of teaching. There are a total amount of 4 years and each year consists of 2 semesters. There are 6 months for a semester and the exams occur every 6 months. The difficulty of the exams are on average if you cope up with the academics.
The eligibilty for placements are from 3rd year of engineering. There are several companies like wipro, tcl and other service based and startup based companies. There are atleast 3-4 offers placed per student according to their criteria. The placement faculty do not fully indulge in preparing to young minds to their desired faculty.
In my case for B.E for my course it is 260000 for the first year, 240000 for the second year, 240000 for the third year and 260000 for the fourth year. We have to pay 1500 as the admision registration fees and 14000 as university fees yearly. The university fees may vary accordingly.
There are a few mentionable events and fesrs in the college, There is this annual fest called Collosseum which is held anually in the month of may or june. The library contains all sorts of journals and other books which helps in studies and other books which contain source of information. There are projectors in each and every classrooms which helps in going through a technological approach for the faculties.
The number of faculties and the lecturers reisiding in this college is a good thing, there are enough amount of faculty for the smooth running of this college. The faculty is very friendly, they make sure that you understand the basic concepts and prepare wlll for your exams. They prepare you for a all-round development. I clearly do not have an idea about of the faculty's credentials but their approach to teaching and mentorship is excellent.
I would rate the course curriculum 8.5/10. It is well-structured and covers the core concepts required for both higher studies and industry. One of the main reasons I chose this course was its balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and practical learning through laboratory sessions, projects, assignments, seminars, and presentations. The curriculum also provides a strong foundation in the key subjects of the discipline.
my course is fun but as i said the faculties font make it interesting, i spent my 1st sem learning coding on my own since they rarely care. all of us had to learn through some classmates who knew a bit of coding.
We still haven't yet entered into our course but the course is really advanced and new technologies have been added in the facilities that can be easily used and needs less user interface during testing or conducting
Placements are very good and are improving more and more....I recently got to know from my python professor that in our cse dept there are like companies like capegmini and phonepe training students for placement and they may select 60 for job...so yeah placements are good there are multiple companies always visiting our campus for placement drives... recently even oracle visited the campus and also conducted an interactive session for 1st and 4th year students how to approach a job
Relevance is crucial for ensuring that the curriculum aligns with current industry demands and student goals. A relevant curriculum reflects the latest trends and technologies in the field, providing students with up-to-date knowledge and skills
The students are eligible for 6th sem only but they have to be clear in all subjects (without backlog). Yearly around 850 students got placed out of 100. Placement percentage: 92.6%. There is also option for M.E in this college only
